The Ark is a high-impact church in a high-needs area! We are a Bible-based, culturally sound, and relevant church striving to reach those thirsting for a relationship and deeper understanding of, and who are far from God. We strive to help those in need in the Gainesville, FL area. It is the vision of the church that we plant a network of churches around the state fostering an atmosphere of acceptance, and holiness, helping all we come across to know more about God and dedicate their lives to following Christ Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

About Pastor Smith
Dr. Derrick L. Smith is the lead pastor for the Ark Church of Gainesville. He is on a mission to spread the Gospel to the world and place Christ back at the center of families. The author of several books, he completed his Ed.D in Marriage and family counseling at Liberty University.
